Uglies

I've been really busy so I haven't been able to update for a while. But this is the series that I'm currently reading. It is about a girl who lives in a world where they get turned "pretty" when they turn sixteen. When her friend runs away, she gets threatened that if she can't get her friend back, then she won't get turned pretty. This is a really good book, and I am kind of a dystopian nerd, but all the same. Thanks for reading, and bye!

The Warrior Heir

I'm going to type this like I actually have viewers, so........yeah.  Okay, welcome back to Anna's bookshelf, and I hope you guys have read the other posts and if you haven't, THEN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding. So, this book was very good it was by Cinda Williams Chima, and it was a very good book, like I said before. This book is about a guy named Jack, and he got this warrior gene from his great-grandma, and there are a lot of awesome plot twists in this book, and I think that's maybe why I love it so much. I really think the whole world should have a book club, and then read this book in their respective languages and then chat about it. I really do. So, this boy name Jack is this warrior who goes on all of these adventures with his aunt, and at the same time, he's trying to avoid two groups of people who want to either kill him or kidnap him and train him as a gladiator sort of thing. I'm sorry this one was brief and I wish it was longer, but I really don't have much more to say but, BBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Grave Mercy

This book is one that I have recently read, and I think that it is a good story to learn about girl power. A young girl that is being trained to be an assassin is a pretty good plot line. So please read this, and by the way, I'm sorry about the less frequent posts, but I'm pretty busy with school and and band. Ummmmm I don't really know what else to write, and it's not because the story isn't good, but I just have other things on my mind. There is minor swearing in this story, but I think most people are chill about that kind of stuff,so thank you! And please comment on your favorite book.

Harry Potter

 Harry Potter is a classic fantasy story thatI love.  I really love this series of wonderful books by J. K. Rowling. It is a beloved story about an odd boy who finally finds home at the weirdest of places. It takes all of my might not to spoil it all for you, but please just read it. I really like how J. K. Rowling writes. It gives me an amazing feeling, that the cursed child never gave me. I get the J.K. Rowling feeling when I saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I'm really hoping for another Harry Potter something, a movie, a book, anything. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was probably one of the first chapter books that I ever read. Ella Enchanted

By the way, if you ever, ever ever ever ever ever say that you saw the movie so don't need to read the book, IT DOES NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT COUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please do not use that excuse for any book, because sometimes, like in Ella Enchanted, the movie is way to different from the book.  You really should read this one, because it is one of my favorites, including the book Beauty that I have already done. This is a slightly more complicated version of Cinderella. It is full of just the best kind of sacrifices, for love. Woohoo. *Swoon*. It is a story both young and old and medium age can enjoy, and is an amazing story. Please comment on which book you think I should do next, whether it be a wonderful story about magic like Harry Potter (which I have to say I'm a total nerd about😎), or one I haven't even read yet. Hunger Games

This trilogy of books is an adventurous story about a heroine who is crossed between two boys. One who she pretends to love, and her best friend. It's a wonderful story, and not at all princess sparkles. I found two of the books at a yard sale, and was seriously ecstatic, because I got them for really cheap, and on Amazon they're pretty expensive. This is one of the top literature love triangles, in my opinion, and is just and outstanding story. There is some violence, so don't go reading this to your four-year-old kid.  Thank you for reading, and please read again soon!

Percy Jackson

Okay there are three different series that have to do with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I will do more on each of them later, but if you haven't heard of Percy Jackson, READ IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm very sorry about the little outburst up there, but Percy Jackson is one of the most adventurous and funny fictional characters that I have ever read about. Seriously, the Percy Jackson series is just amazing, and I hope that you can read it soon.(PLEASE!!!!!!!!!) If you have books that you think are awesome, please comment and I'll do a post on them!
